In the erstwhile Thakurwadi, the worship of Shri Ram and Maharani Janaki was being done by the saints and sages. Later that Thakurwadi turned into a ruin due to lack of proper care. A Siddha Mauni Baba tried to build the temple again at this place through Shitalpur village, but he did not succeed.
The spirit of temple construction remained in the heart of Late sant Shri Sahdev Singh Bhagat of our Shitalpur village that a grand Ramdham Mahavir Sthan temple would be built here when Mahavir ji's inspiration and grace would be there. He died in a particular time, but in the heart of his daughters Smt. Premdevi, Shri Ramsagar Singh (son-in-law) Smt. Nunumani Devi, Shri Naresh Singh (son-in-law) the desire to build a temple was constantly conscious. Because paternal rites are found in the child.
Prasad and donations are the mainstay of the income of the Shrine Board. The donations given by the pilgrims are used for the general upkeep and maintenance of the holy shrine along with the creation of infrastructure for the visiting pilgrims. The board does not receive any significant financial support from the state or central governments.
